Located along the Gulf Coast, North of Clearwater and West of Tampa

Dunedin is one of the oldest towns on the West Coast of Florida. Known for its annual Scottish celebrations, it offers a charming and active downtown, beautiful parks, recreational activities and a relaxed lifestyle for all tastes. Dunedin has almost four miles of picturesque waterfront, making the town a truly delightful place to visit. Also, just off the coast are Caladesi and Honeymoon Islands, both renowned for their unspoiled beauty. If watching is more your style, the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays of the American League brings some great baseball to town.

As a growing community with a downtown that is filled with quaint shopping, our town has many breweries and dining experiences. Dunedin is also known for year-round festivals, art and hosts a seasonal farmers’ market.  The location of Beyond The Wall provides guests with the unique opportunity to park their car and enjoy the area on foot, bicycle or golf cart if desired. Within a 10 minute walk, guests can enjoy the downtown area or stroll along the shores of Saint Joseph’s Sound.  Beyond The Wall is situated one minute away from the Pinellas Trail bicycle path that connects the coastal communities from Saint Petersburg through Tarpon Springs and beyond.  Upon their return to Beyond The Wall, guests can enjoy some downtime in a Key West environment in the solitude of their own cottage or enjoy a more social atmosphere in the Main Building or around the pool.

Nature lovers will find osprey nests, a wide variety of shorebirds, and one of the few remaining virgin slash pine forests in South Florida. The park boasts several nature trails and bird observation areas. If thirsty or hungry, the park’s concession (Southern End) has a gift shop and snack bar that border a dedicated Dog Beach. Let Rover hit the water and get his paws sandy…..read more
